East Monkton Church about us

The East Monkton Church Association incorporated as a secular nonprofit in 2006, and obtained 501(c)(3) tax exempt status the following year. Our mission is to preserve and maintain the 1867 church building, to raise funds for this work and for other expenses, and to oversee the building’s use for public benefit.

The East Monkton Church Association, Inc. is committed to providing a welcoming venue to multicultural performers and audiences alike. We believe that strong communities include and support people from diverse backgrounds regarding race, ethnicity, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, socioeconomic background, religion, and other areas of identity. We embrace equity regarding opportunities for participation and involvement as we expand various educational, social, historical, and entertainment event programming.
