Preservation projects in the late 1960s and the 1970s included repainting, replacing the roof and entrance steps, and installing electric wiring. From the 2000s to the present, many more have been accomplished with the help of specialists in the fields of historic preservation and engineering of historic buildings. A few of these varied undertakings have been floor sill replacement, window restoration, landscape grading, and exterior trim repair.
