Mission Statement

       The East Monkton Church Association, Inc. was organized for the purpose of preserving the historic East Monkton Church building. It is the mission of the Corporation to:

Raise Funds for the Purpose of Restoration and Maintenance
                                                                                                       

    The East Monkton Church Association, Inc. receives no financial support from religious, political, or other organizations. Restoration funds are obtained by fund raising activities, grants and private donations.

Restore and Maintain the East Monkton Church Building and Property

      A conditions assessment of the building was performed in June of 2005 through a matching grant from the Preservation Trust of Vermont. The assessment provided a basis for planning restoration.

Oversee the Building Use for Public Benefit

                                                                              

    The Corporation promotes and oversees the use of the historic building by the public. Donations are requested for the use of the building.
